How are skis refurbished at Skioccas?

Each pair of skis passes through our workshop in Savoie. Our expert ski technicians thoroughly check the bindings (DIN, springs, toe pieces), sharpen the edges, and wax the bases using state-of-the-art machines. We also perform custom boot molding when necessary.

Any pair that does not meet our safety criteria is discarded.

Where did your used skis come from?

Our skis, boots, and snowboards come from the rental fleet of the Danisports group, a long-established player in the French ski rental market. At the end of each season, models that have reached the end of their rental cycle are selected for refurbishment and resale on Skioccas.

What are the different states of wear and tear on Skioccas equipment?

Our skis, boots, and snowboards are refurbished, but still show signs of wear, especially on the upper surfaces. We classify them into 3 conditions:

  • Condition 1 — newer material, with just a few visible scratches on the top.
  • Condition 2 — This is equipment that has seen more use, with some visible scratches and dents on the top of the ski. Very good value for money.
  • Condition 3 — scratches and dents may be deeper and more pronounced. Ideal for those looking for a budget-friendly option without prioritizing aesthetics.

All our skis, however, guarantee the same safety standards. The soles have been refurbished, sharpened, and waxed.

What shoe size should I choose (Mondopoint)?

Mondopoint sizes correspond to the length of your foot in centimeters. Measure your foot from heel to toe, then enter the measurement on our product pages. Shoes that are too wide will result in a loss of precision, while shoes that are too narrow will cause discomfort.

Is the adjustment of the fixings included?

Yes, binding adjustment is included. When placing your order, please indicate your weight, skill level, and boot size. Our technicians will adjust the bindings to your profile before shipping.
